The MAP Micro Air Retract system is the long awaited solution for larger electric scale planes and EDF Jets. Suitable for heavier EDF Jets with 70mm Fan unit the retracts allow the conversion of many of our popular EDF jets to ROG. The units have been successfully installed in HET-RC F-15 Eagle, F-20 Tigershark and F4 Phantom already. HET-RC Me-262 and Rafale conversions are in the making by our customers.
The MAP Micro Air Retract System, consists out of 2 main retract units, 1 steer able nose retract unit, wire struts, air valve, splitter, mini air tank, air hose and one way filler valve, will allow the modeler to equip their electric jets and prop planes with a full working retract system.
At only 85 grams the additional weight will hardly be noticed in bigger electric planes. The retract units work with a spring/air principle. Retract by use of air, deploy by spring power. This not only saves air pressure allowing for more retract cycles but also ensures save deployment of the retracts in case of an air leak.
