This page aims to answer some frequent questions reaching us via email.

Ordering and Shipping

  • How do I order from RC-Warbirds.com?
    Please use the shopping cart function in the web shop. The shop clearly shows which items are in stock and which of our models are currently not available. Simply click on the shopping basked sign on the product info page to add the product to your shopping cart. Once you have finished your selection please proceed to checkout by clicking the checkout button on our webpage.
     
  • The product I want to order is out of stock!. What can I do?
    Please use the notification button on the product page (it will appear instead of the small shopping cart button to sign up for product notifications. We will inform you once the item is back in stock. Please also send us an email (Sales@rc-warbirds.com) and inform us of your intention to buy so that we can see if we can get the product back in stock for you faster.
     
  • Do I need to create an account before I can order?
    Yes every customer needs to register an account before we can process the order.
     
  • How will RC-Warbirds treat my personal details?
    RC-Warbirds has a strict privacy policy. Please refer to our privacy policy for further details.
     
  • How can I pay?
    RC-Warbirds accepts payment via bank transfer (Singapore), wire transfer for international customers, paypal debit and credit card. In order to protect our customers from fraud it might be necessary that we call you after you have made payment to verify the authenticity of the credit card details.
     
  • What shipping options do I have?
    We are shipping FOC to local customers using SingPost no matter how big your order.
    For International customers we offer shipping via Singapore Speedpost. Some items however might be to big to be shipped by post. In such cases we are working with freight forwarders to ship the goods. Our customers are of course always able to choose their own freight companies and have them collect the goods at our warehouse. Please also refer to our shipping and return informations during check-out.

Electric Planes

  • Do your electric planes and especially jets really fly?
    Yes of course they do. All planes we are offering have been tested and proven. Special characteristics of individual models are mentioned in the product description.
     
  • Do I need brushless motors for all your planes or can I use a cheaper brushed motor?
    No, brushless motors are not required for every plane we offer. In fact some designs fly very well with traditional brushed setups. The power recommendations for our electric but also nitro/gas planes are stated in the individual planes product description.

LiPo Batteries

  • Do I need a special charger for LiPo Batteries?
    Yes a suitable charger is required. Please refer to our LiPo Safety advice for further information's on LiPo handling and care.
     
  • Are LiPo's save?
    If handled properly LiPo batteries are a save source of energy. Suppliers and Manufacturers are constantly working on ways to make these form of batteries saver. Please refer to our LiPo Safety advice for further information's on LiPo handling and care.
